New year resolution

Yes everyone today is going to take some resolutions today and forget about them in the first month. Some will go on till March. I'll get slim, earn more money, eat less sugar, exercise and so on.

Now you are thinking, here comes a nay sayer who wants to be different and say how new year resolutions are of no use.

But I say do set goals, in fact write them and make a step by step plan to achieve them. A few things however, to keep in mind.

One, quantify what you want. Money? How much in this year? What is your strategy for earning that? Is there a back up plan? What are the pros and cons in your strategy ?

Two, keep it to yourself. Unless you are on the same plane with someone, don't share your goals. Talking to everyone about your goals dissipates your energy. Some people may transfer their negative energy by making fun of you. So keep quiet and do your work

Three, don't make losing weight a resolution. That should be a life long goal. To stay healthy is not a short term goal, it should be a part of our life.

There is nothing new I am telling you. These are just a reminders to help you achieve what you want in this year. Follow these and you will find you are better off than most of your friends.
