Give me liberty
Monday after a long weekend. Well I don’t get Monday blues
but today was feeling sluggish. So I thought I'll write the blog after my
breakfast. But then it was time to take my dog for a walk.
Why am I telling you my itinerary? No, I am not defending myself for not writing
my blog in the morning. It's just sometimes this laziness takes over us and we don’t
do things we are supposed to do. And we feel guilty. Then we get stressed and
agitated.
But is it that bad to let things go once in a while? Don’t we
have the right to feel sluggish sometimes and just laze around? Why do we have
to feel guilty?
Modern life has many pressures on us and we feel inundated with
so much information, so many goals to achieve and so many roles to play. So
nature devises its own plan and makes us sick so we are forced to take rest
whether due to cold, flu or some muscle spasm.
So before that happens, my dear ladies, take a break without
feeling guilty. Even if you cant skip office and you have three meetings lined
up, indulge yourself. Just stop and take a piece of chocolate between two
meetings. Or go out for a walk in our lunchtime. Or give a friend a call.
If you are at home, cook something especially for yourself
or order something from outside. Neglect that floor for a day. Let that laundry
remain unfolded for a couple of hours. Go for a coffee with a friend.
It’s okay to be ‘Bad’ every now and then. So pick up that
phone and call a f5riend for gossip. Believe me you will feel much better.
So be it!!!
