Technology, A bane?

Sat down on my computer to apply for a job with Elections Ontario. I was determined to get everything right the first time, as I was already late for my blog. I didn’t write one yesterday as I had fever. So, very carefully, I stared filling up the online application. I cleared the first page, then the second and the final page.  I then realized that they had also asked for a cover letter so I went back to My Documents and attached a cover letter. Now was the moment to submit.

But what!!!! It wont let me do it. I tried going back to the previous page and then come back but no. Like a stubborn child, it wont let me submit my application.  So ultimately I had to call the authorized person thinking that they may have received my application the first time. But she said no they had not. She said she will get back to me when she is able to solve the issue. Very sweet of her.

Does this happen to you? The technology fails you/ I am pretty computer savvy and am able to resolve most issues on my computer myself. I try to because if I call my son, the first reaction is either, I am busy now or ma it’s so simple, cant you do it?

But alas even at the risk of being ridiculed I could not call him as he is out of town. So, here I am waiting for that sweet girl to figure out why they have not received and my computer is not letting me send it, I am going to make a coffee and start planning for my radio show in the afternoon.
