What is your language?

 What is your language?

There are about 7100 languages in the world and that includes dialects. A small country like Papua New Guinea has 800 languages. India has the sane number roughly. The most spoken language is, surprisingly not English but Mandarin Chinese, around 990 million people use it as their first language. It is also the hardest to learn. Tamil is the oldest language still spoken in the southern Indian state of Tamilnadu. Sanskrit is considered the best language both phonetically and grammatically. Hindi is a derivative of Sanskrit.

Why am I talking about languages today? Because to me the best language is which touches not just your heart but your soul. They say art has no language. When you listen to a good piece of music, you don’t need to know the language. It is the language of love and compassion. When someone thanks you or blesses you , language is immaterial. The emotions are more eloquent. When you are in love your eyes talk, no verbal communication is needed.

Ah, but then there is anger too which can be conveyed without speaking. Both parties understand the anger in silence. Emotions have a unique way of expressing themselves through non verbal cues. Sometimes that can lead to confusion and conflict also but that’s beside the point of discussion here.

I wish peace and harmony become the languages for humanity. Let’s create compassion and understanding the main pillars of this language and let hope and kindness be its foundation. Optimism, growth and enthusiasm be its tenses and laughter be its phonetics.

Do you agree? Do share.

Let’s speak the language of love.

So be it !!!
